Summary:

ProGen Search is partnering with a leading CRO specializing in bioanalytical and biomarker services for biologics and next-generation therapies. This remote position focuses on the San Francisco, Nevada, and Utah territories, offering the opportunity to build client relationships and drive new business development in a rapidly growing and impactful field.

This role is integral to connecting cutting-edge drug development technologies with industry leaders and advancing our client’s mission to improve human and animal health.

Responsibilities:
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by maintaining and expanding existing accounts and developing new business opportunities.
  • Identify and establish relationships with prospective clients through targeted outreach, leveraging CRM data, and industry networking.
  • Present company capabilities effectively to clients and prospects.
  • Prepare and support proposal development and follow up on project scopes.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
  • Participate in marketing efforts aligned with organizational goals.
  • Anticipate domestic travel (25-50%) to support client relationships and business development.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, with 5+ years of experience in the life sciences industry, including 1-3 years in business development or client management.
  • Proven expertise in bioanalytical services, particularly for biologics and next-generation therapies (cell/gene therapy experience is a plus).
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and developing strong client relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools; experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively manage tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
